Well I think I am now 1 day off from completing the tractor if the weather holds off. The inside needs to dry out before I can put the lino floor down and I'll finish it along with the coop but I need to get the Guinea's out of the brooder ASAP.
the door was going to go on the side so I tried to mimic the shape, then I decided to have it on the front but I had made the door and trim so the shape stuck
I finished the door and roof today, I needed it to be sound in structure so I can move in the new tennets in.
The roof is hinged to make it easier to get to the feeder and waterer
Being a smart ass I decided to double hinge the door to fold it out the way when clean up time comes around. Actually both sides are hinged but I only want to use on for everyday use
The rear panel will eventually be removed and an external nest box will take it's place, but as I'm going to put the guinea's in there it can wait. but for the moment I can button the tractor up tight for the night so I can sleep in peace.
The inside needs a quick tidy up but the basics are there.
All I need to do now is move the wheels to the other side as I am going to make a run for it although the Guinea's will be free range I may decide on keeping some chickens in there, if so it's the same width as the gap between the raised vegetable beds so I can move it between them keeping the grass in check.
i won't know what to do with myself once I get these projects done, oh yes thats right, get ready for the goats next year
