This afternoon we picked up our 2 brown Bovans and 2 black bovans.
The final members of the butt nugget posse.
Yes I know about chicken math and just like calculus I don’t believe in it 😂😂😂

All got along great.

At 9 pm the 3 older girls went into the coop.
The two brownish ones that were given to us followed shortly after and the 4 new birds stayed in the run almost whimpering.
Each of the 4 newbies let me pick them up and place them on the roost.

As you can see in the pics, my wife is in love. lol

Congrats on the flock additions!

Last night i went to lock up everything up around 9:10 pm and all the girls were up on the roosts together for the first time. Since we got the latest 4 hens i was having to place them up on the roosts, not because they couldn't reach but most likely they were scared. It sets my mind at ease knowing that they are all meshing together and getting along.

Change isn't easy for chickens, guess yours have adapted ok :)

We are still new at this, but integrating new birds to an existing flock no matter how small was a big concern for us as we are aware of the "pecking" order of things. We just wanted all the girls to get along and "knock on wood" so far so good.
