And the coop begins

The coop was already here when we got here.

I am in the middle of power washing, repainting and doing some general repairs to it.

The run is 26 X26 and the coop itself is 22X10 ( my measurements before were off.. whoops). The rabbit hutches are being built next to it with their run semi attached, but still seperate. Still alot of work to do but atleast we have made progress

Any suggestions welcome

Well no work got done on it yesterday. I worked a 12 hour day and was whooped when I got home.

Hopefully today I get some more powerwashing done and then can get to the painting.

What color are you going to paint it?

It screams red to me as well... Bright barn red...

But I might go with white with green trim to match the house.

I'd do some hardware cloth or welded mesh. I'd go with RED! Must be red! Ha ha. I can't wait to see everything you do with this space. How nice to have this just waiting for some love and a purpose.
