.. so, I'm chatting with DH last nite .. telling him how my friend fired up the bator and was thinking about getting back into chickens. Then I slipped in that I've ordered her some bantam cochin eggs .. s/b arriving in a few days ..

Then he says, kinda non-chalantly, "Yeah, I can't wait until WE can order some eggs for US ......"

To which I replied: "Funny you should say that, honey ...."


It took him a second ...

I'm supposed to pick my eggs up the first of next week, to go in the bator with my friends ..

OMG .. I'm so eggcited .. and I don't even have them yet!!
