...can't seem to find my thread about the sirens.

At anyrate...I left the tv on and had the windows closed for it was chilly today. I wanted to go on with life the way we would normally to see if we'd hear the sirens doing our regular thing.

Nope...couldn't hear it.

So I turned off the tv and opened the window and I could hear it faintly. It's a little over a mile from me.

Another poster said she can hear hers and they live over a mile away. So I'll be calling tomorrow and telling them I can't hear it.

I've got subdivisions behind me so it's not like there's not a lot of people out this way.

did not call yet.

thunder stopped but now the drums and marching band are going all this week from dawn to dusk...Phantom Regiment uses the school a mile away to practice and in return the school gets to use their instruments or something like that. And the Phantom Regiment goes and competes all over the country...plays down at disney world and such...

so basically i get a free concert all week.

more on the phantom...

we go up to the school and sit in the bleachers with the rest of some of the town folk and watch them...at the end of the week they put on their performance with their costumes and full gear... really cool.
