I found a few eggs over the last couple days but now today.. I didnt find any.. Is it normal for that to happen?

I just went to check the nest about 30 minutes ago, and my EE laid a beautiful blue egg for me. Even with a hurt wing she is managing to lay one. Extra treats for her tonight

sjmarshall87, I believe it is normal for them to lay one day and not the next if they are new to laying. Once their bodies are use to producing eggs, most breeds will give you one everyday. Hopefully one of the pros can give their input on this question. There are a lot of knowledgable chicken owners on here so this is the right place to ask
