to watch the kid.
And then she gets bent when my mom has the only grand kid all the time.
I have a huge craft event this weekend. Sunday. All day. From 830(set up) to 4:30 at the end of the fair. On T Day she asked, with my daughter HACKING BTW if she could take her out shopping that weekend. DH said no. Kid is sick. I mean really. The kid was HACKING none stop. So dh tells her she can take dd shopping this weekend. That Sunday would be best since I have the event and really want to have him with me and to not have the kid with us. She will get bored in no time and I really need to SELL SELL SELL. Not entertain the kid all day.
So she says ok. And we dont hear from her. I told dh that we need to leave early Sunday. I need to know what is going on. Is she still taking the kid Sunday? Can we drop kid off Sat night and have her stay over? There is no way this woman is going to be able to get to our house from her house before we need to leave Sunday morning. She has a hard time getting to family events that are in the afternoon on time. I purposefully tell her that things are an hour earlier than they are so she will be on time
And. If she cant do this I need to take the kid to MY moms Sat night and then pick her up Sunday after the event. I need to know where my kid is going to be!
She offered to watch dd on the 15th(yeah. A Monday night) so I can meet dh for his company holiday party in Boston. I am nervous that I am going to get there and she will not be there and then I will be late. Last year she didnt like what I was wearing and was dragging crap out of her closet for me to try on.
I was late and got lost trying to find the place on my own. These things are important for me and my dh. I do seasonal work for the company. I need to be on time etc. It doesnt look "good" if I am late. And to some extent it does reflect on my dh, who pushed for me to do the seasonal work in the first place. He is middle management.
I just wish we lived further away than we do from her. Oh and she is wanting to sell her house and move out closer to us. AGHHHHHHH!
I know the next step will be the extra room. But I plan on burning the house down before I allow that. ...kidding. .. kind of.....
no I'm not.
