I have a sheet up over curtains in my son's room. lol He has one of those huge windows with the half circle over the window and it gets all the afternoon sun so I had to do something to keep it cool in there.

It has sheep on it. So now he can literally count sheep while falling asleep.

here they are... they've got a ton of terrible reviews apparently.
I don't have the ones with grommets and I did notice one curtain seemed a bit longer than the others but it's barely noticeable.

I have not washed mine yet to see if there was shrinkage.

There are some favorable reviews though. All I'd have to say is that I don't have the same complaints.

My mom ironed them out of the package and they are fine... not wrinkly.

And I like the look and they don't let in that much light. So I am satisfied with my purchase.

I guess mine would be the cream colored ones.

They look good with my beige walls and white milk barn painting with dark navy trim w/ dirty gold? frame and patchwork quilt of red/white/blue on my couch and greenish/beige/cream area floor rug and medium stained wood furniture and windows.

I have boughten PLAIN solid color sheets, ran a curtain rod sleve across the top on my sewing machine and hung them as curtains. The sun sets oppisite our front, which has 2 picture windows so hanging 2 king sized sheets (on curtain rods, not tacks) was a cost effective solution.

I hang a blanket in my doorway to keep the heat in during the winter.

And I have made curtains out of sheets before too! You do get a lot of choices using sheets. Its almost cheaper to buy sheets than material, cuz I've done that too.
But now I have tab curtains in my living room and my son's room. I actually have real curtains in all my windows now!

I have those same tab tops in a bedroom. In green. And in two bedrooms, I have shades made out of ......quilted mattress covers! Was looking for insulated curtains because windows are single pane and it happened to be a "white sale" event where the mattress covers were super cheap. So I bought king size and cut them up and made shades on tension rods. Works great. Lets light through but do wonderful at keeping cold/heat at bay! Curtains in my living room are two damask tablecloths on those clamp-ringy things on a long rod which is actually a length of copper plumbing pipe.

I made my bedroom curtains out of dark blue twin sheets. I just folded up the top to look like a valance and that was the last time i sewed anything without cursing up a storm.
For my wedding, I covered the tables in floral fabric, which was essentially sheets, and my mom now has two of them covering her sliding door window, and they are different florals! But they look good, anyways!
But best of all, today I spent hours reinforcing the edges of two king-size sheets I bought at Goodwill. Then I sewed washers to each corner. I'm going to hang one over my garden, and the other will go over part of the chicken yard. It's amazing how hot the metal trash cans (full of feed) and the chicken waterer can get in the summer. The shade makes a HUGE difference, but this is my first time using a sheet.
