She looks just like my late Andy hens (one light blue and one splash).

I now have two beautiful 16-week-old blue pullets from MPC, that are supposed to be Andalusians... but I've recently started to wonder about their purity because their combs are still very tiny, and they don't show any of the trademark white "earlobes" yet.

They are from the same order that included a red "mystery" chick in an order that was supposed to be for three BA pullets (with no substitutions). MPC still insisted that it was an Andalusian chick, despite its unusual coloring! That chick is now completely black with no beard or puffy cheeks, so I still don't know what breed she is.

I don't think I could trust any orders from MPC in the future.

hes very gentle with her and all of my hens non of them have bald patches

I don't think he tries to be deliberately rough, but he's very large and heavy. Maybe you're lucky and your roo is lighter or gentler than our big guy. The Andy roo is way smaller and gentler, by far.
