Currently have 2 3 week old african goslings, we let them free range and eat all the grass they want during the day and have free access at night or during the day to the chickens starter/grower can they still develop angel wing, or does this not hurt them?

It is good that they are eating a lot of grass. In general, medicated starter is not recommended for geese (although there is one type of medication found in feed that is supposed to be ok). Geese generally transition to a lower protein grower around 16% at 4 weeks (earlier that chicks). The lower protein helps prevent angel wing. Geese also need more niacin. Tractor Supply has a good starter that is formulated to be appropriate water fowl and chicks and has the recommended time to feed it listed on the bag.
