Oh, I forgot to add- Can anyone tell me the genders? And perhaps possibilities as to who the fathers might be--
Red Pyle
Black tail buff
Fawn Silver Duckwing
Porcelain
Here are the possibilities; thanks if you have suggestions.

I'm curious- how did you get the hen to adopt the baby chicks? I would be afraid of my hens pecking the babies. Was she a mommy before?

Thanks & I have to say I love the pictures- gorgeous. I can't imagine having to deal with raccoon massacres. I'm sorry for the loss of you beautiful chickens, but how wonderful you have the babies.

So sad about your hen...but what wonderful story of the beauty of foster parenting.
I'm glad you still have one of her chicks. I hope this one lives a long and happy life!

The four chicks are extremely tame and love to be held, follow be around, etc. I am quite sure of the gender of two, but unsure of the father of all.

Anyhow, here's the update:
They are now 8 weeks old and one has already begun to crow, although I have not seen who.

Here is Angela's chick-- I am still unsure of the gender, but it look like a rooster...

Here is the pearl OEGB mix-- also not sure of the gender. As for the father, he must be either the Black tail buff or the Pyle since the mother was greyish and white.

Here is the little white cockerel--he is most likely the crower b/c I am already seeing his growing hackles and saddle feathers... still, this is the youngest I have ever had a cockerel crow. His mother is the Fawn Silver Duckwing and his father is a complete mystery.

And this girl is probably the most interesting... Although she is a mutt (her mother is Fawn Silver Duckwing) her pattern is basically ginger red. I don't know who her father is, but he must be either red pyle or black tail buff.

Here is a comparison of the pullet's plumage and that of my blue ginger hen--

Thanks if you have suggestions for the fathers or genders.
