I have this 14 month old cream legbar hen. She is rather small for her breed and used to be very friendly.

In the middle of July, she decided to go broody, so I had to unbroody her. A bit later, she started molting and being grumpy. She hasn't layed an egg since July 12.

Now four months after, she is still grumpy. She eats, drinks, perches... but she no longer wants to be held touched or looked at :idunno.

She also dislikes being around other and will usually be at the far end of the run, moping alone.

Not certain what is going on, but from the picture she appears to be anemic. Any possibility to a red mite infestation in the coop ?

Right now, there is snow everywhere and the temperature is below freezing,
But none of the other chickens seem to be anaemic.
But I will check thank you

My cream legbar is physically healthy and acts like that anyway. She is disinterested in people and ignores all of her sisters. She plays alone and prefers to sit by herself. She's always been like that, though.
