Oh, good, I'm not the only one.

We have, well I think we still have her, but anyway one of our older welsummer hens is spurred, and we have this one pullet and for a lot of the growing stage thought it was a boy, but it wasn't, some just have big combs and wattles, and male like features.

Even more odd is when she’s not being broody momma she’s #1 on the pecking list. When she kicks babies from her protection, she isn’t subtle about climbing back to the top. She literally pecks every hen or pullet around, almost asking if they have a problem with it. Same day as she kicks them away. Every. Time.
