Angry female duck?

I have four runner ducks, two female, two male but sometimes i catch the female circling and quacking at the two males, making the males feathers fluff up. Does anybody know why this is happening? It happens quite often and its like the female is trying to hide behind the males, the other female duck doesnt do this. Theyre all runners.
