Angry Vulture Living In Our Garage. How to get him out?

Went to run the dog out, & found this guy in our Garage.

They’re not vicious. Open main door and turn off lights. Use a broom and move him off the perch. He should flush outside pretty easy

He was hissing.

I agree with what @Something Cool said. Just an extra warning, don't hurt him. They are protected by the law in America.

If I remember right, hissing has something to do with food, but it's been a while since I studied vultures.

Vultures aren't viscous. Just push him gently with a broom like @Something Cool suggested. Just a word of warning though, they can throw up at you as a form of defense. Just stay far enough away from him.

Vultures, being carrion eaters, get a bad rap. They are harmless and feed mostly on dead critters. Startle them, and they can regurgitate their eating. It’s nasty. Just move calm and slow. Leave plenty of room for an exit.

That was a pain in the butt, but finally got him out. He threw up on a bucket.
In the process of getting him out, he got caught on a cord, & I had to free him. After that, he still refused to leave, but eventually pushed him out of the Garage.
