Wow... such a SAD and sickening show!
They had bears and tigers in TINY cages for years... NO water,... just a hose spray in the face to drink.
Pigs up to their knees in mud and filth..Ostrichs living filth, sick with ratty filthy feathers...
I hate people..

It happens more than people ever believe. When we had our exotic animal farm most of our critters were rescues. It is sad.

I saw that one, too. What amazes me is that he legally owned all those animals. Say what you want about all the stupid laws in Ca., The one I almost totally agree with is regarding the ownership of "exotics". I only disagree with the illegalization of ferrets and hedgehogs. I truly believe 99.9999% of the people who have big cats, bears, etc. have no clue what they're doing, and have them for all the wrong reasons (status, notoriety, because they're "cool", etc). Not that they ALL don't have good hearts, but I seriously question their motivation.
eta...I certainly respect those few who run successful rescues - with all the idiots having their exotics taken away from them, there certainly is a need!

I have watched it before, it's sad and I'm glad we dont get the Animal Planet channel anymore.

I know I usually have to turn it off because it is too hard to watch.

I don't watch TV....except Denver Bronco football games.

BUT, when I visit a "Home-Bound" friend..., he usually has it on his TV.
I don't like the show......I think that too many of those enforcement people are members of PITA (spelling).

Often, they will confiscate animals....and then kill them for their own good.
(It reminds me of U.S. Foreign Policy.)

That's why I don't watch that show. It makes me so depressed to see such innocent creatures getting harmed in such a way.
