Glyph turned his head and gazed at Jewel and her new friend. So far, he had two Pegasus mares in his herd, but neither of them could bear him foals. He whinnied a greeting then returned to watching over the herd.

Nightmare had been dozing lightly and opened her eyes at Jewel's arrival. She noted how young the filly was and sighed inwardly. It would need milk, and Jewel couldn't provide that.

A few feet away, Nightmare's filly, now named Stardust, was learning how to hold her wings where she wouldn't walk and/or trip on them. Her brother, not yet named, was fast asleep in a curled-up ball.
Jewel new to that her new adopted Filly needed milk, and she sure couldn't provide that so she walked over to Nightmare "I know you already have your hooves full, but I don't have any milk for Luna… can you help?"

Sky yelled back, lifting higher and higher effortlessly "I thought I saw 4, but Oh well cow taste better anyway".
Night Terror's predatory heads would about eat anything that moved, except friends, but she hadn't any friends, except maybe Sky.

Nightmare wondered where Glyph had gone, as she looked at Jewel. Nursing three foals wasn't going to be easy.

"I can try," she said.

Oath's new fear was immense, and her panic-stricken eyes took in where she had landed. She glimpsed Glyph, and upon seeing him she scrambled to become upright, bugling out the warning of danger.

Isobel found the equine's behavior comical, if not a little annoying. It seemed that every animal that she came across detested her. She wondered if it was the unnaturally attractive scent coming from her skin. Or, perhaps it was the predatory look about her. She sighed. Although humans seemed drawn to her beauty, charm, not to mention, smell, animals were just terrified of Vampires.
Glyph froze, glancing first one way then another, looking for whatever had Oath on edge.

"What is it?" he finally whinnied to her.

"Thanks, and I can help you get extra food, and teach your filly to fly!" Jewel said as she looked around "wheres Glyph he's been gone for to long, do you think he's OK?"

"oops! those aren't cows, there pegasi (Glyph's herd) oops my bad! let's turn around!" Sky said as she stopped abruptly in the air.
"You can mistake winged horses for cows?" Night Terror's goat head asked. The chimera banked and flew after the dragon.

"I don't know where he went," Nightmare said. She looked at Jewel. "We may be on our own."

Her colt moved to nurse hungrily.

"sorry, they smell almost the same…" Sky said as she hovered in the air.
Night Terror wasn't sure about that one, but she didn't say anything.

"Okay," said the dragon head.

"Now what?" finished the lion head.

"hmmmmm, so do you mean he might never come back?" Jewel said her ears pinned back she looked at Luna and Luna nickered and Jewel still worried nickered back.
"No, he'll be back, I'm sure. I just don't know when," Nightmare said. She looked at her twins then at Luna. "If you're hungry, eat now before we leave."
