Very well, if she insists, Glyph thought. He tossed his head and whinnied a greeting to Oath.

(okay)
Oath whinnied back, alighting on the ground in front of him. "Its not nice to run away from mares," the Pegasus said, her voice full of laughter.

(he's on a mountainside ledge)

Glyph flicked his tail, letting his wings droop. "I'm used to being chased away by Pegasus."

On the ground, Nightmare stared upward. The rainbow-winged Pegasus looked familiar.

"Th...thanks?" Glyph looked down at Oath. "No one's ever told me that. Any mares I came across chased me away."

On the ground, Nightmare recognized Glyph and whinnied angrily at him.

The mare laughed. "I think you must have been misinterpreting their intentions,"
"Pinned ears and bared teeth are easy to interpret. They mean 'leave or die'!" He heard a whinny and looked to the ground. "Unicorn."

Nightmare was steadily making her way to Glyph's ledge. She couldn't fly, but she was very agile, despite her well-rounded belly.

"Hmm..." Oath looked thoughtful. "Like that," she whickered, gesturing to the black equine below them.

Glyph watched as Nightmare continued to leap from crag-to-crag, approaching his ledge. "No, she's tracking me because I...did something."

Nightmare reached a ledge just below Oath's.

"Let me guess.... You did that." Oath said, gesturing to the round stomach of Nightmare.
