Kris...It was nice to meet you saturday at the swap.
How is your chicken liking her new home??

Double T....How did you guys do?? Looked like you were selling lots of birds.

I sold my 3 rabbits. I didn't end up taking the lambs or the pot belly...Only because the weather was so nasty. WE HAD SNOW!!!!
It was cold, snowy, rainy, sleety, icky. Not a lot of sellers, more buyers than sellers.
Hopefully the Fall Creek Sale next weekend will bring nicer weather with it.....
I thought we were done with winter!!!

we did really good we only came home with 6 chickens we brought close to 25 of them.. we sold 11 out of 13 ducks.. didnt sell the two geese

the ones we wmated to get rid of most.. ... what did u guys all buy? we bought two dog leashes and a dog kennel lol... too bad the weather couldnt have been better.. if it wasnt for the hmongs we wouldnt have sold much.. we just had 14 ducks hatch out of the incubater today...

Kris how is the Brahma doing?

Shawna nice meeting you and glad to hear you sold your rabbits.

Matt glad to hear you sold a lot of your birds too. That weather was really strange.

My brahma(Charlotte) seems pretty happy, I am glad I snatched her up. She is in a cage at night but I let her outside to range on nice days, at first she didnt move much but I think she is starting to get used to it here. My Orpington rooster talks to her a lot.

I sold all my pigeons in one fell swoop

Is any body going to lil' Outlaws swap in Fall Creek on May 3rd???? I would like to go. I bet there will be a lot there (oh oh) I dont need any more

anything

the weather forecast this weekend doesnt sound nice but it cannot be as bad as last weekend

thats good to hear shes doing fine.. i bet she likes being able to run around outside.. half of our chickens havent even seen the outdoors
sad.png
only when they go to and from shows.. because we have them in a 16 foot by 20 foot barn thats heated and insulated. it was so much easier in the winter the water only foze once all winter.. have u ever been in dan's chiken barn? its almost exactly like that except for we dont have teh outside runs.. we have the cages 3 high.. teh bantams are 3 foot wide and 5 foot long.. we have 18 bantams on one side and 21 standard breeds on teh other side.. and them pens are 4 foot by 6 foot.. and then we have a big barn fan on the end to circulate the fresh air in.. its a pretty nice set up you will have to see it some day..

as far as i know were going to the fall creek swap. .but my dad never knows if he is going to have off or not

We're going to the swap.
This time because the weather is nicer (or suppose to be) I will be bringing my lambs (2), pot belly pig (1), and if I can catch her a baby goose (1).
The goose is about 1 1/2 weeks old. But the mom is very protective.

Is anyone going down to Thorp for the auction after the sale??
My mom said most get to Fall Creek and leave around 7:30 to make it to the Thorp auction.
We talked about doing that, but it depends on what sells and if I can stop from buying.
Then we are suppose to go to a wedding (cousin getting married) around 3 in Caddott.
Wonder if they will mind if I bring all my animals that I pick up to the dance!!!!!
