Yeah you have a point, I have a feeling this "Excalibur" arc will kind of suck. But its too late for me to stop watching, I got hooked during the first season I'm a fanboy now

Same here... The first half of season 1 was awesome (I really hated the whole alfheim Asuna thing though). I thought GGO was semi interesting but not as good as S1, and well, Excalibur quest is pretty awful

Agree. And about the whole asuna thing, arent they supposed to be in love or something? Its as if the writers forgot about that...oh well

Yeah, the writer kinda messed up a lot with some parts. In the first half, Asuna was pretty independent and strong, and then she was downgraded to a weak damsel in distress. However, I recommend the "progressive" manga... It's so much better and it makes the fights so much more epic. It also makes Kirito and Asuna's relationship make more sense...

After this Excalibur thing they'll do "Mother Rosario" which could turn out well... I hope...

Yup!! Also, I think mother Rosario features Asuna so we can finally see her in season 2
