After awhile, pavement turned to dirt and as they continued, they could see fields of cattle and horses nearly everywhere. Through a little more driving, a dark bay horse in a nearby field saw the pickup and started running with the pickup as Skylar was driving. Skylar slowed down to pace herself with the horse, and measure its speed. The needle was on about 38-39 mph. "Getting better." She said to herself as she pulled into what looked like the most beautiful property in the whole area. The house was all white and two stories, with Victorian style windows and seeming welcoming. Not far from the house was a big black barn, seeming to be brand-new. Inside the barn came the happy nickers and whinnies of horses. There were two pastures, one to the side of the barn that stretched well over 9 miles, and another that was a little smaller, where herds of cattle were grazing lazily.
As Skylar got out of the truck she'd parked by the pasture fence, the same dark bay horse came trotting up to hang his head over the fence. "Oh, hey Moe!" Skylar chirped, petting his nose. "Ay, who turned you out today...? Ah, no matter. Starfire will just have to wait." She turned and waited for Raz, still standing by Moe.
