Raz stood at the corner of the building, beside his lifted rubicon half cab (it's a kind of custom jeep) drinking a coke.

"Raz!" Skylar called, putting her phone in her pocket ad walking to him. "Hey, um... I know we just met and all... but I was wondering if you'd like to come hang at my house for awhile so we can ride...? You'll get to meet Starfire and all the others." She smiled shyly.

"Yeah, just follow me if you want." She said sweetly, walking to her pickup with a nonchalant air about her. She pulled out and made sure he was following.

After awhile, pavement turned to dirt and as they continued, they could see fields of cattle and horses nearly everywhere. Through a little more driving, a dark bay horse in a nearby field saw the pickup and started running with the pickup as Skylar was driving. Skylar slowed down to pace herself with the horse, and measure its speed. The needle was on about 38-39 mph. "Getting better." She said to herself as she pulled into what looked like the most beautiful property in the whole area. The house was all white and two stories, with Victorian style windows and seeming welcoming. Not far from the house was a big black barn, seeming to be brand-new. Inside the barn came the happy nickers and whinnies of horses. There were two pastures, one to the side of the barn that stretched well over 9 miles, and another that was a little smaller, where herds of cattle were grazing lazily.
As Skylar got out of the truck she'd parked by the pasture fence, the same dark bay horse came trotting up to hang his head over the fence. "Oh, hey Moe!" Skylar chirped, petting his nose. "Ay, who turned you out today...? Ah, no matter. Starfire will just have to wait." She turned and waited for Raz, still standing by Moe.

Missy comes screeching into the band room "holy $&@& I think I broke my toe!!!!!!!" she screeched as she stubbed her foot against the door jamb, hooding her foot near her chest and jumping. (wow, this situation has happened before lol XD)

"oh my gosh are you okay?" Aglaia said calmly poking missy's foot

"nice place!" Raz said, landing cat like as he jumped from the jeep.

"oh my gosh are you okay?" Aglaia said calmly poking missy's foot
"I... Think... I... Injured... Myself..." missy said melodramatically, out of breath from jumping.

Moe snorted, broadsiding him and trotting away haughtily. Skylar sighed, running a hand through her gold-spun hair. "Sorry. He doesn't really like new people..." She murmured apologetically.
"Sky!"
Skylar looked over her shoulder seeing someone waving to her. "Yeah?"
The man walked over, clearly her father. He was tall with raven hair and brown eyes. A few cuts lined his arms. "Who's this?"
"This is Raz, a friend of mine. We were just gonna ride for awhile."
"Alright, but don't let your mother see."
Skylar's voice got quiet. "She's home...?"
"Yeah."
Silence. Skylar quivered lightly.
"Buck up, sweetie." He nudged her arm lightly. "She ain't gonna do s*** to you. Too wasted. Go on and ride."
"Alright..." Skylar said, pulling a ponytail off her wrist and tying her hair up into a ponytail. It still hit her lower-back, as it was always so long. But by this simple gesture, anyone could get a better view of her eyes. They were doll-like, expressive and caught the light. As she lead Raz towards the stable, her father called her name again.
"Yeah?"
"Ride Annekin today. He needs a little schooling."
Skyler snapped and pointed at him, a casual gesture of "alright". She turned and walked into the barn, the grass around it flourishing with life. She hauled open the door, which was clearly rusty.
"Need a little help there, miss?"
Skylar turned around to see another helper. She gave a broad grin. "Sorry, since when did you come back from Sweden?"
The helper laughed. His cheeks were finely chiseled, like a statue. His nose symmetrical and messy blonde hair that nearly hung over his eyes. His eyes were humored and revealing, ice-blue with green flecks. "Ay, came back from Sweden just yesterday, ma'am." He said respectfully, knowing that Skylar was in charge. His smirk faded when he saw Raz. "Who's this?"
"This is Raz, a friend. Raz, this is Gus, a helper."
Gus tipped his hat. "Delighted, sir." The Swede said, sounding semi-grim.
Skylar forced the door open, which was clearly broken. "Arrange for someone to fix that, Gus."
"Kay." And Gus was gone.
As Skylar walked inside, she mumbled under her breath. "Jeez, what's his problem?"
The barn inside was stellar looking. Painted white and black, it looked so professional it seemed unreal.
"Alright, who do you want to ride?"
