Skylar came back carrying what looked like the most gorgeous tack set anyone had seen. It was simple: A white saddle blanket with an all-leather, raven-black saddle, gleaming with the freshness of just being cleaned. The bridle was also black, with white stitches around all the edges. The bit was sterling silver and had no curb chain.

"I don't use curb bits on any of my younger horses. I have to use them on Starfire though because he doesn't feel the pulling on his mouth when telling him to stop unless a curb bit is used." She said, hopping up on Annekin easily. "No one knows why."
She flagged down someone, said something in a foreign language, and they ran off.
"Now, just follow me." She grinned, clicking Annekin into a trot and was gone.

Annekin's trot was quick-paced and more like a show gait. It didn't seem like an actual trot, more of a gait for shows.
Skylar led him to what looked like the most fabulous arena ever. Two people were setting up a course, and when they saw Skylar they waved. She waved back and pointed at the showbarn. They said nothing, only scurried off.
"Whatcha think?" Skylar smiled, looking back at Raz with captivating eyes.

Raz broke into a trot, reassured the mare would not cramp. "the facility is marvelous, and the horses are lovely. You must come to my house, it is only 4 1/2 miles from here, and see my horses. My stallion, in particular, you would like." he said, riding with exceptional grace.

"I'm sure I would. I'd love to come, really." She said. "D-do you mind if I go over the course with Annekin...? We have a show next weekend, and..." She trailed off, blushing.

"Thanks." She clucked Annekin into his show gait and moved to a corner labeled A, and cantered him. His movement was graceful. fragile, like a dance. He willingly jumped rolltops and combo jumps, sailing over them with full confidence. He weaved in and out through poles and trotted over ground poles. His confidence was overflowing, and he sailed through the course easily and elegantly. Skylar was stellar at conducting his stride; it would go from short-stepped to long and breezed through each jump.

Raz smiled, impressed. "I usually show my boy in hand, in the stud category. But I think he and annekin should race, they outcome would interesting."he called as the beautiful palomino finished up the course.
