This morning, I gave the chickens watermelon. I was refilling stuff in the run when I noticed my Buff Orp, Anna, kept squawking and jumping away from the others. So I picked her up and started checking her for injuries. I noticed her foot was bleeding. I brought her to the porch and told my fiancé. He got a paper towel with warm water and cleaned the bleeding foot. After he cleaned it, we realized that there was only a small scrape! I'll attach a photo of it after being cleaned. We put some Veterycin on it and returned her to the flock. Should we do anything further?

Clean the foot up better. Give the foot a good soak in diluted betadine, chlorhexdine or warm soapy water (like dial soap) and gently scrub with a soft brush to remove the blood, poop and debris from the foot, then apply Vetericyn or triple antibiotic ointmnet. A small cut/scrape become infected quickly on a foot (technically any infection on the foot would be called Bumblefoot) - consider wrapping the foot to keep dirt/debris out of it and keeping her on clean dry bedding would be ideal for a couple of days. Look at the foot at least once a day and monitor it for any redness, heat, swelling, odors or pus/oozing. A wire dog kennel in the run with clean shavings works well to limit a bird's activity while they heal.
