Annie went to Heaven today

Well I lost my avatar today. I let my chickens out as usual and I didnt notice that Annie didnt come running out with everyone else. I went outside a couple of hours later and coudnt find her anywhere. I looked inside the chicken run and there she was flat on her back. Im devastated, she was absoulutely fine yesterday. I just lost 6 chicks too, I feel like Im under a curse or something. I know that Annie had swallowed a 3/4 inch wood screw, but she seemed fine, and I figured that would be a gradual thing that I could deal with if it started to become a problem. Do you think that could have killed her in less than a day? Im so bummed out. Im ready for the spaceship.
