Another “ are these cockerels” post.

I had a batted rock I swore up and down was a roo as it grew faster then it’s other barred rock sisters, had a pronounced comb and wattles and lo and behold Jamie Lee was a lady.
So I’m hesitant about this one.
I think I’m a little more convinced about my Americana.
The “barred rock”, Steve Rogers has the strangest patterning I’ve ever seen. Prob just poor breeding. It has some rusty feathers on its back. A single comb and big wattles. It is 11 weeks old. From Hoover’s
The Americana, Buffalo, has a rose comb, that appears to have 3ish ridges. The tail feathers seem pretty definitive though. I got it at tractor supply. I have one more of them That has a more typical pullet tail. It is 10 weeks old.
Anyone want to tell me that I def have 2 Roos? I got 4 straight run silkies as I was hoping for a fuzzy roo! So far they aren’t letting me know.

Gonna need better pictures of the Easter Egger. (Americana is actually an Easter Egger). It has a pea comb, not rose comb.

The first one is a black sex link cockerel, not a barred rock.

First two pictures show males. The last bird can't see the comb. If it's red it's a boy too.

Both cockerels. Pretty sure the first one is from a production line they call "commercial black". Not sexlinks but about as close to a barred Rock as production reds are to a RIR.

I could have sworn it was Privett breeding those but I'm not 100% sure.

Ooh well. Somebody’s getting eaten! Steve had the little white head patch and all. Darn it. They are both super sweet too. I’ll give them a while and see who is more chivalrous
