I very seldom worry about candling eggs that a broody hen is sitting on. It's not like artificial incubation. The hens keep everything the way it should be, and most of the eggs hatch.
Once I had a duck sitting on 2 rotten eggs. I could smell them from outside her nest. So I just waited till she came off the nest and carefully removed each egg. I sniffed them all, and believe me, it was easy to find the bad ones! I've never had that happen with a chicken. But if you were to have that, you'd know it.
Other than that, don't sweat it. Your broodies will take care of everything for you.
