another cat people question

this morning when i left my house to take my daughter to school
my cat came around the corner with a mouse hanging from his mouth
as soon as the cat saw me and my daughter
her dropped the mouse and sat on it
he then looked at me
thank god he eats all of the mice
but did this cat act this way cause he thought that i was going to take his mouse from him
or what

My female cat runs away growling when she she has a mouse in her mouth and she knows I've seen her. She is actually pretty funny about it.

i was watching my cat
and he had his hind legs like marching for a few secs
and he is scrunched
and he attacked a gopher

LOL that is hilarious. My cat is a great mouser as well, if he notices you watching him while he eats, he'll slink off at high speed growling and spitting all the way to under my brothers bed where he will eat/playwithuntildead/kill mouse.
