another crazy question

do chickens pee? or just poop?.....we have 2 bantee chickens that stay in a cage off the ground and sometimes their shavings are wet and my husband says chickens dont pee....is that true

lol Yeah, I believe their droppings are so wet that they don't pee so to say-- it's just mixed in.

The white you see in the droppings are urates, this is the equivalent to urine for chickens.
