Another dead chicken

Here are the symptoms Lathargic, no strangth to eat, comes on with no warning, no discharge from nose and eyes are a bit sunkin in. What is it???
Buff Orpington breed. this is the second one to die 2 months apart from each other and I am a clean freek so the coop is not very pooped up. Raised from a day old from a good breeder the chicks are about 7-8 months old.

What are you using to clean, could there be a poisonous plant they are getting to?

Have these chickens been laying yet? What does their poo look like? Have you picked them up to look them over and see if they have any visible problems?

Some pooh is dark brown soft, other is normal looking. They have been laying since the end of November they eat laying pellets and scratch. Gave them deworming from vet after I took first one in to see what was wrong said has a parisite. I kept her in the house for a week with medication and she just would not eat or drink. It got to the point where she would not open her eyes so we put her down. They only eat grass that they can get through the fence. I had chickens befor (not this breed) and they would run all over the yard and we never gave any meds to them and they where fine Barre Rock I think you call them. But it has been 3 yrs since we had them removed as I had back probelms so it was not like they where sick and nothing on our property has changed.

Okay then I'm stumped--see if you can find a state vet to help you. If you haven't buried the last one to die, stick it in the fridge and see if you can get a necropsy done. Check the stickies at the top of the "emergencies" forum page.
