Hi All! I have done a search and there is too much info to sort out! Help?!!
My pet silkie hen has diarrhea and a dirty vent. Her poop is very loose, looks same color as feed and doesn't smell. It looks like watery feed.
She just started today.
I keep her the house most of the time. She has a yard/coop for nice days. Yesterday she was in all day playing around the kitchen and ate a BUNCH of scratch grain.
She is 5 months old and has been laying for about 10 days. She is still eating starter crumbles with some lay pellets mixed in.
Could too much grain give her diarrhea? During my search I saw that you can give livestock probios or yogurt. I have some probios paste but can't get to the store 'cause of the snow storm. Would the probios paste help? How much to give? Is there anything else I can give? How long 'till I worry myself to death?
Any help is very appreciated!
