Any help is appreciated..
My hens have good feed, strong eggs, enough nesting boxes and free range, yet I have had 3 hens not laying and spending lots of time in nesting boxes. This is our 3rd hen we have lost with the same issues. Not sure what is going on. Two a little over a yr old hen and the other one was about 3 yrs old. Two days and no eggs while we have her isolated on the porch. She is still eating, pooping and drinking. What could I be dealing with? Everyone I talked to says it doesn't sound like she is egf bound. Do hens just stop laying? Maybe she is broody and wants to just sit and not lay?

Has she died or is she alive?

If so, can you feel inside her vent for an egg?

Get some calcium into her (Calcium Citrate with D3) and work on hydration.

Have you performed a necropsy on any that you lost or sent a carcass in to your state lab for examination?

She is alive. We have her isolated on the porch with some warm water and feed. Been giving her warm Epsom salt baths with coconut oil and keeping her bottom lubricated. My husband said the egg and bowel movements come out of the same area. I was told no...

If she's got an egg stuck then you'll need to get some Calcium into her to see if she can expel the egg.
Calcium Citrate with D3 can help. 1 tablet daily, pop it into her beak and let her swallow.

Is she able to poop at all?

He is correct.
Is she pooping?

Yes she is pooping, eating and drinking. Here is some pictures. As I have massaged her bottom to keep it lubricated she lost her feather... Ooopppps
So isa bit bare.. Lol

Yes she can poop. I edited the thread with some pictures. My friend said something else might be going on with my hens. Lol she has had chickens for over 10 years and has never had egg bound hens. I wonder if we are thinking it is because they are sitting in the nesting boxes and not laying.

Is she eating/drinking, moving about, relatively active?

Looks like she has a bit of bloat. Possibly some fluid in the abdomen.

Not sure if she's egg bound. Egg binding is a crisis and usually a hen would be in great distress by now.

Sounds like what you are describing is a reproductive disorder like Internal Laying, Peritonitis, Cancer, etc.
The only way to really know if you lose her and examine the internals or have necropsy.
You looking yourself may not give you the best answers, but it's a way to visually see and link symptoms to what you see.

What do you feed including treats?

Interesting... She free ranges and the get organic scratch from the same company their feed is from
