So today I had a bad cough. (NOT Corona, I've had a cough for awhile from pre-existing conditions).

Anyway when I cough INSIDE the house, the ducks in the backyard start quacking in response.

Its kind of funny because...how the heck can they even hear that? Somehow they are hearing it. (Its an older house so maybe the walls are thinner than some of the newer houses., but even so....)

Every time I cough they will quack a response, particularly this one girl duck (possibly only her).

Its kind of funny.

I don't know what they are thinking.

Maybe they are just hoping and begging for a treat. Or maybe animals can feel other things...? Who knows?

Hahaha btw how long can u leave an already incubated egg under 90 F without the chick dying?

That’s soo cutee, have u hatched duck eggs before bc I need a lot of help on that 😆

I'm trying to learn that. :O

I can't say I am good at it. I'm practicing using an incubator on chicken eggs first, because the one time it worked for me, only 1 duckling survived. (Chicken eggs are cheaper to practice on.)

I like this idea tho...

But the 2 times I tried incubating duck eggs, they were both mailed eggs. I suspect that the mail is harder on eggs than I thought. I'm guessing if I were to do it again with local eggs the success would improve a bit.

If you want to ask something about hatching eggs I'll try to help but others are way more qualified than me.
