So just for fun wondered what everyone thinks the sex of my 5 week old Lavender Orpington is? Peanut is currently going through the gawky stage

I think it is too young for an accurate answer. Give in another 2 or 3 weeks, and post again if it is not clear by then.

I know im late but rooster. Im just getting some rooster vibes also the comb is larger then my pulets was as a chick. Pluse my rooster did the same thing feathering out with the wings plus they should be more feathered out so roo

Here’s Peanut now at 7 weeks. I’ve still got no clue if she’s a she or a he Feathering is really slow but I have heard that Lavender Orps can feather in slower. There is no wattle growth yet ….

I'm on the fence with this one. For now I will say pullet due to lack of wattles. However, I have a sneaking suspicion that it may be a slow developing cockerel.
