Hi, I'm very new here, but just wanted to say hello to everyone. I'm relatively new to chickens although we had some when I was growing up. But after wanting chickens for about 10 years, I finally have a wee flock of my own. We have (I think) 5 hens and 2 Roosters although they are only about 12 weeks old. They were given to us by the boss of my husbands brother and are a bit of a mix of breeds, they seem to be Austalorp x Barnevelder x possibly Silkie (some have 5 toes). We have had them for about 2 months and are enjoying them even more than I could have imagined!
