Another hen or roo question :) (pic heavy)

Hi everyone. My quail chicks are 4 weeks old now and i can sex all but one of them.

It's this golden. These are "Golden Giants/Jumbo"

Here's the same bird with a gold male to the right


and another with ? on the left and gold male on the right ( i think i'll be keeping the jumbo male in the middle for breeding)

They're looking quite scruffy today, do you think they're feathered enough to go outside next week?

Also managed to find the right wire for the floor at last. The cheapest was a 15m roll ( I only needed 2m) …. Keep thinking of plans for more pens already... well it would be a shame if all that wire went to waste..

I've been putting my quail outside in 2 1/2 weeks. The weather was down to the 50s at night. They did fine in it. I put all of them out at once though, so thats 20+ together, which helps generate more heat.

I think your quail is a male, but maybe wait another week or two to be sure.
