I have 9 Golden Comets-- all girls. I would be so shocked to get a rooster... I get Goldens specially so I don't make that mistake. Wow.... guess I'd learn to love it, but really don't want my girls scratched up by a rooster. Welcome from eastern North Carolina!

I would say that the red chicken is no doubt a cockerel and the pullet in the 2nd photo I would say is a partridge plymouth rock.
