Dh doesn't know about mb introductions, so I'm popping in here to say "Hi" for the both of us.
We've just gotten our flock of 6 chickens, no roosters. 2 are RIR that are REALLY old, and the rest we have 1 Golden Comet, 1 Wyandotte, and one Dominique.
3 are layers and the others, the 2 RIR's are getting a retirement home because they are so sweet and so old.
We're having a ton of fun with them and dh is already figuring out another chicken tractor so that we can have a flock of 14, minus the older girls.
In addition to the chickens, we have 3 children, one cat, and 3 baby squirrels.
We're also looking to get a half side of beef and both of us are learning SO much on here and are very glad to be posting and getting to know all on here!
