Another humidity question

Hello,

I went into lockdown yesterday and my humidity is only at 49%. I know I am not supposed to touch anything while in lockdown but can I take the cover off and add some wet sponges or something? I am incubation in a Brinsea 20 advance. I wish I had bought the humidity pump

. Should I leave it or get in there to add water? Thanks everyone. Wow, this is driving me crazy!!!

PS....this is my first hatch!!!!

I say add some wet sponges or something to try and bump it up......Need to get that up some.

Thanks....just added a little water...and a wet sponge. Hope that works. Didn't know hatching chicken eggs was so stressful
