Another Illinois Newbie

Hi all! I just put in my order for chicks and they should be here the end of April. I'll be getting 5 buff orpingtons and a cockerel, 5 barred rocks and 5 white rocks and a cockerel. Probably wayyyy more than I need, but not nearly what I would have liked. LOL Guess we better get started on that coop! This is my first time with chickens and I've already learned a lot just by reading the forum. Hope to get to know all of you better!
