I wanted to cook a chicken tonight but came in late so I threw
some grub together. Maybe I'll do chicken tommorrow.

Quick Scampi:
Saute lots of garlic in butter and olive oil on medium heat.
Throw in parsley, basil, and crushed pepper.
Add shrimp and cook on low until cooked through or shrimp are white.
(I overcooked the ones in the pic by mistake.)

Pour over 1 cup of brown or whole grain rice.

It has less than 40 grams of carbs and all are in the rice.
Shrimp are PURE PROTEIN. The olive oil and butter are fatty
but at least it's natural.

My favorite salad:
Romaine lettuce, brocoli, carrots, black olives (YUM) + whatever
vegies you have. Pears are SO GOOD in salads too.
My Dressing:
Olive oil, lemon juice, parsley, basil, crushed pepper, and FRESH GINGER.
Fresh grated ginger is so good and cleanses the pallet so everything
tastes better.

Root beer!!! One glass is around 20 carbs unless you do the diet stuff.


Best of all your dogs and chickens will love you for the rice and left over
butter you pour on their food.

Tonight I cooked with NO EXTRA SALT. This was a first.

My waist is down over 2 inches and I've lost 5 pounds in 2 weeks.
I eat like a pig too but I eat better foods.

Yummy! That looks sooooo much better than the weak salad I had for dinner last night...*sigh*
Alas, its my own fault, I am on Weight Watchers and doing 'damage control' from indulging this weekend
