Another milestone!

[Quahog]

My little flock (nine birds) is aprox. 20 weeks old they have been laying for about two weeks now. The last two days I've gotten 5 then 6 eggs! The eggs have been kinda small which as I read is to be expected when they first start laying. One was much bigger when I cracked for my breakfast "Double Yolker"!!

Aren't us newbie chicken owners a silly bunch? I bet there are a bunch of veteran owners that think so!

My eggs are small too. The second egg my first layer layed was big! I thought nothing of it until I cracked it open and two yolks came out! Bonus!!! Yes, we are a silly bunch!!
