Hello! I am a new chicken mom 
I have been reading and researching having backyard chickens for months. I got permission from the city, and I finally bought plans for a coop. I posted the plan pictures on my FB page, and a friend connected me with a co-worker that had to get rid of her chickens due to HOA restrictions. Two days later, and we are now a chicken family! I have two gorgeous girls (one Rhode Island Red and one Plymouth Rock). The grew up together and are 10 months old. I received a small coop and feed for the girls. We fed them worms and fresh veggies from the garden when we brought them home, and they were settled in just like that! We tucked them in their coop for the night, and the girls are fast asleep. I am looking forward to giving these girls a good home and just wanted to say hi!
