Another newbie from San Diego

I joined a few weeks ago and have learned SO much, thanks to all of you . Currently in the "coop blueprint" stages, but won't be able to start building until I fix up the yard a bit. And buy/scavenge materials. And figure out if I can pull off building a "living roof"....

Is there a thread where the San Diegans hangout? I'd love to find a local club, too.
