Hello!
I'm very new to the BYC deal! We have 4 girls (2 RIRs, 1 black Australorp, and a wheaten Americauna) who were born in October and our family has fallen in love with these funny birds
Just got our first eggs from two girls a week and a half ago and today another started the egg song so it's a very exciting time for us (lots of racing to the nesting box for new eggs!). We have 4 young daughters who have raised some mighty friendly chickens
. We live in the 'burbs of Austin and love it here. I've really enjoyed reading the BYC boards over these past months and learning so much about our chickies! Happy to be here
