Hi all,
I am a newbie to this forum but not to poultry.
I have 23 chooks, 1 Rooster, 2 guinea fowl keets,19 ducks and drakes and 6 geese.
I also have parrots, dogs, 1 cat, 1 crazy cockatoo and 4 quail.
I guess all these keep me quite busy as well as my OH in building cages.
My rooster is a GLW and the hens have that plus OA mix. A lot of my chooks have fluffy top knots on their heads as there is a back ground of silky there as well.
I have had poultry off and on for a lot of my life so they are my hobby.
I have introduced a little Sussex girl but I don't know if she is spotted or barred. A little character and so nice.

I look forward to visiting this forum and asking questions as well as contributing to it.

Val

Hello :frow and Welcome To BYC! Sounds like you have a nice assorted flock!

Welcome to BYC, Val! Glad you decided to join our flock. You have a nice mixed flock. I'm a chook person and don't know much about quail, geese, guineas, or ducks (although I've had a few ducks), but I have to admit that ducklings are the ultimate in cute. If you have any questions regarding your quail, geese, guineas, or ducks, just post them on our quail (https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/48/quail), geese (https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/47/geese), guineas (https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/45/guinea-fowl), and duck (https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/42/ducks) sections, and I'm sure you'll get lots of replies. Good luck with your flock.
Cheers.
