Hello All,
Excited to officially join the ranks here as a member. My husband and I got three chicks a week ago and are hoping to finish construction of our coop this weekend..or next.
We are both brand new the raising chicks/chickens, but are loving it so far. We have a Rhode Island Red, a Barred Rock and a Silver Laced Wyandotte. Love all three.
In addition to our chicks, we have a nine-year-old dog. (We'll certainly be reading posts about introducing the dog to the chicks.) I love to garden, sew, read, and am trying to develop a love of cooking. My husband plays a lot of soccer, likes to camp, and plays the guitar. We just bought our first house (thus the chickens...finally) and are having fun turning it into our home.
