Good Morning to All,

Just wanted to introduce myself. Been lurking on the forum for a few months now just trying to gathering information prior to making the commitment to becoming a new chicken hobbyist. Began my journey by viewing all the posting about building a chicken coop and went the route of using pallet wood to build my very first one. Afterwards, purchased a 10'x20' caged run to enclose the coop in. At that time, I was ready to accept my first flock of chickens, which consisted of 4 Rhode Island Reds and 4 ISA Browns (September 14th). I then obtained 2 Barred Rock roosters, just yesterday, but was unsuccessful at introducing them to the ladies. Will try again once they are a bit bigger and can defend themselves.

In anycase, just wanted to say hello to all and looking forward to absorbing the many ideas/experiences the others share.....
