Another Newbie Question - Help with Behaviors

Looks like my girls!! I have six RIR's and one - Myrtle - that no matter what if I'm not paying attention to her will sneak up on me. This summer it was my crocks and now it's my rubber boots. She can really reach high when she wants to!!

Yeah...they will peck at freckles, moles, scabs...anything that looks like a suspect bug or speck of food I guess. Mine are so young (6 1/2 weeks), I've ignored and even laughed about the pecking thing. But my little austrolorp (who was sitting on my shoulder) pecked at a freckle just above my lip and brought a little blood. So now I've gotten very firm with them when they try pecking at me...
