hello i'm new hear i live in cold n.h. i have 32 chickens and 4 ducks my two favorite birds are my bb red old english and my mystery bird i'm new to chickens so if you have any tips please tell me thank's.

I am rather new to BYC *and* to chickens too.

I have 12 Black Stars I got back in April as chicks and they just started laying about two weeks ago. That's all I have. I live in Iowa and it gets very cold here in the winter so I don't want to add to my flock until closer to spring so I'm trying to wait patiently!

How did you grow your flock? Where do you get your chickens from? Friends? Farm store? Hatching?
