Hi I'm new to this site also. I have had chickens on and off for almost 10 years. Went to Agricultural school in MA and saw how the production hens were treated and I spend my time loving my chickens up and treating them well. I also try to spread the word about where the supermarket eggs come from so people buy from local farmers. Off to my second swap ever this Saturday at the TSC in Tilton. Have two Americauna/Cochin Roos that I would like to trade or sell so I can add two more hens.

Sounds like you have lucky chickens! I am afraid to ask what you have learned about production hens and supermarket eggs.....I bet it's awful.
